ABSTRACT

This study was carried out to examine the effect of prosperity preaching on the growth with a particular reference to The Apostolic Church, Nigeria,  Gwarimpa Assembly Abuja. To achieve this objective, three research questions were stated to guide this study. Field survey design was employed. The sample size was 160 members of the Apostolic Church, Nigeria, Gwarimpa Assembly Abuja. Data collected using questionnaires were analyzed using Statistical Package for the Social Scientists (SPSS). The findings revealed that there is concept of Prosperity preaching with reference to Apostolic church in Gwarimpa, Abuja and there is effect of prosperity preaching on the growth of Apostolic church in Gwarimpa Assembly in Abuja. The study concluded with some recommendations that the Holy Spirit should be given the chance to lead the    church, as this will aid rapid and sustainable growth in the church.
