ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between capacity building needs and computer education teachers. Three specific objectives, three research questions, and three null hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. The area of the study was Uyo Local Government Area, in Akwa Ibom State. The population consisted of 500 computer education teachers; and sample size of 100 information was gathered through questionnaire. An instrument called “Capacity Building Needs of computer Education Questionnaire (CBNCEQ) was developed for data collection from teachers, to access information on the capacity building needs of Computer Education; with 15 items each. Data collected were analyzed using t-test for testing of the null hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance; along with descriptive statistics (mean) which was used to answer the research questions. The findings of the study revealed that, significant relationship exist between capacity building needs and computer education teachers.
