ABSTRACT

This study is to investigate the Effect of Improvisation of Instructional Materials for Biology Instruction in Senior Secondary Schools in Calabar Municipal Local Government Area of Cross River State. To carry out this study, the research design was adopted for this study. A sample of 200 SS1 students was drawn randomly from the population of all secondary schools in Calabar Municipal Local Government of Cross River State. In order to test the formulated hypotheses, a 20-item questionnaire on the Absence of Laboratory Skills and Use of instructional materials and 20 multiple choice achievement test on Biology were constructed by the researcher to elicit information from the respondents.
