ABSTRACT

This study investigates a socio-economic development of Ikot Andem Itam from 1960 to 2015. The work deployed both primary and secondary source, the primary source made use of oral interview and secondary source was the consultation of books, journal , among others. Also, the methods used in this work was both analytical and narrative method. The finding of this work encapsulate the socio-economic activities that occurred in Ikot Andem Itam, which enhanced productivity and survival including the labour relations.
