        The phenomena of corruption cannot be over emphasized due to its effect on Nigerian socio-economic development. Nigeria could have been a country that can challenge the economic power of any other countries in the global market system, because of her natural endowment. But today Nigeria is classified as one of the developing nation in the world, one of the causal agent of this developing nature of Nigeria is corruption. Probably, corruption is one of the most pronounced and discussed concept in Nigeria's literatures, because corruption have become an integral part of Nigeria history since her independence.
