ABSTRACT
This research work evaluates factors agribusiness entrepreneurs influencing innovation in abia state Nigeria. Innovation can be viewed as the application of better solutions that meet new requirements, in articulated needs, or existing market needs. This is accomplished through more effective products, processes, services, technologies, or ideas that are readily available to markets, governments and society The term innovation can be defined as something original and, as a consequence, new, that “breaks into” the market or society. As we recognize the roles entrepreneurs plays in the development of the economy. It is equally important to understand what affects them from taking effective entrepreneurship and innovation decision. innovation in agricultural related business especially in the African setting, have been generally agreed to be affected by lack of market , opportunity access to finance, enabling environment , market information and managerial skills, crime, theft and social dis-order, corruption and bad legal systems, Poor infrastructural facilities, multiple taxation, tedious registration and licensing procedure, and poor access to formal credit facilities. It has been established that despite the performance of agribusiness entrepreneurs in Abia State, Nigeria, the sector was still bedevilled with challenging factors which have retarded the growth and development of the sector.
